Poems of Apology

Because I've been gone for a while, due to the craziness that ensues at the end of the school year, I found some poems of mine with "sorry" in the title. Hope you enjoy!

Sorry

The end began with sorrys.
I was sorry, I was sorry, I was sorry.

Now it is my greeting
after acknowledging you in bitterness
every time.

The sight of you is poison in a wound
that is long overdue in healing.
I've never mended anything of this magnitude,
nor have I ever created anything like it
until now.

Shots fired at your innocent eyes is a poor excuse
for self-defense—but for now, it's all I know, and

I'm sorry.

Sorry, I'm All Out

I'm tired of being scared
Fear is getting boring
Time will pass no matter what I do

I don't have any poems or stories or words
I'm all out
No complaints no critiques

Life just is
It's happening and I feel
Very whatever

Does every moment need
Romance or glory
Or anything

I'm here I'm fine
But I have nothing for you
Nothing to give

Also, here are some flowers I drew my mom for Mother's Day.

  1. How are you so good at this??? I love the poems and the flowers! :) You could come up with a really cool collection of poetry with a theme like that.
